Crystal already splits light into colour. Rainbow asks what happens when you push that further. A dichroic film is applied to the angular facets, amplifying the spectrum that was always latent in the glass, shifting and intensifying as the light changes, or as you move past it.
The Rainbow Bowl is ideal for your keys, your phone, some coins (a catch-all, or vide poche) but it can also be used to present nuts and sweets. As traditional crystal glass, it is also quite tough and resitant, and can even be used as an ashtray.
Material:
Hand-cut lead crystal glass with dichroic film on underside. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid dishwasher use.
Dimensions:
ø 15 cm H: 4 cm, 990g
Care:
Wipe with a damp cloth, or use soap and water for tough stains. Do not submerge in water as this will damage the felt backing.
