Who we are

In 2011, architects Gunnar Rönsch and Steve Molloy turned to crystal and polished metal: materials kept out of reach, stored in cabinets, reserved for the good room, equally respected and ignored.

These materials are fine and precious but they are also physically assertive: they fracture light, distort edges, and return the room in fragments. Reflective surfaces edit their surroundings.

Fundamental’s approach is architectural. Form is resolved through proportion, weight, and tolerance. Clarity is a discipline, defined by what is excluded. These materials resist trend.
These works are made to last.
